Find Out More about the Believe & Read Program

Creating a strong foundation for future learning, the students at St. Francis Xavier School receive academic instruction that is rooted in the faith, yet personally applicable to each student. A commitment to small class sizes has helped the students to receive high-quality, individualized instruction.

Each Elementary grade level will have classroom instruction in Religion, Reading, Spelling, Grammar, Handwriting, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Specialists in Technology, Physical Education, Music, Band, and Latin help to ensure that students have a wide variety of experiences and a well-rounded child is developed. Project Based Learning is an important part of the curriculum and can be found at each grade level. Project Based Learning allows students to learn traditional content while also developing important 21st Century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

Extracurricular activities including academic clubs, theater, and sports teams help to enhance the academic offerings and provide students opportunities to apply their academic and social skills. St. Francis Xavier School also maintains a school garden. The produce from the garden is harvested by the students and used in the hot lunch program.

Registration for grades K-4 is open. There is limited space available at each grade level. Contact Alisa Louwagie, Principal, at 763-489-9227 for more information or to schedule a tour. Come find out how St. Francis Xavier School is the right fit for your child.
