Fall Parent Teacher Conferences for grades K-8 are scheduled for Monday, October 7 and Thursday, October 10.  This is a great opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, learn about how your child is doing, and plan for a successful school year.  Please see details below about how conferences are handled for each grade level.  (Preschool conferences will be held later this fall and more details will be sent from the teachers.)

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL, Grades 5-8:

Middle School conferences will run from 3:00-7:30 both days.  Parents will be able to meet with Middle School teachers in their classrooms.  In order to prevent long lines, and to give families more access to teachers, we are asking middle school families to sign up at this link.  Middle School Confrences  Families will be signing up for an hour to make visits with teachers, not specific teachers.  These conferences are meant to be a quick check in with the teacher.  Please keep your conference to 5-7 minutes per student.  If more time is needed, please contact the teacher to schedule a conference at another time.

 

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Grades K-4:

Conferences with elementary teachers will be scheduled in 15 minutes blocks from 3:00-7:00 both days.  You can access the sign up for conferences through your Sycamore account.  You will notice the sign up on the right hand side of the screen, under My School.  Click on this link and you will be able to select your child and a conference time for each teacher.  Please note the sign up is not available in the app, you must be on the desktop/computer version.

If you have multiple children, I’d encourage you to sign up right away to ensure you can access all teachers on the same night.  You can also reserve time to meet with one of our specialists (Music, PE, Latin, Technology) through this sign up.

 

SPECIALISTS:

If you’d like to meet with one of our specialists—Latin, Music, Technology, PE—this can be done in one of two ways.  You can sign up for a specific time with that teacher through your Sycamore account.  Or, you can stop by that teacher’s classroom on conference night during one of their open time slots.  Please be aware that some of our specialists only work specific days at our school and may not be available both conference nights.
