Join Gardening Enthusiasts Kipp & Deb Wyse along with Tyler & Jenny Reiss for a day trip to the St. Joseph area.  

Starting out the day at St. Francis Xavier School, you will ride in comfort on a chartered Trobec’s motor coach.* First stop of the day will be at Thomsens Garden Center in the rolling hills of Collegeville, where you will create your own 14” hanging basket or patio container (a $70 value).  Basket templates, hundreds of plants to choose from, and expert advice from Thomsens’ staff will assure you have an enjoyable and successful design experience. Everything to create your container is included. 

Bidding farewell to dirty hands and your labor of love, Thomsens’ staff takes over the growing and care until Mother Nature has lifted her wintry burden.**  Sip a glass of wine, savor some food, enjoy a chair massage and the music, all of which are included in this experience.  Peruse the various spaces of the garden center, and get invigorated for Spring! The experience is best enjoyed with friends or family!  One person and one basket per spot- no non-paying guests, please.

 

After the planting party, you will head to downtown St. Joseph, where you can choose from several excellent local establishments within a few block radius for a light lunch or cocktail.***

 

The bus will then return you back to St. Francis Xavier School.

 

* Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided on the bus.

**Baskets will be available for pickup in the latter half of May at Thomsens Garden Center.
